Since 1917, Lions have been changing the world one community at a time by addressing needs at home and around the globe. The Lions men and women are different in many ways, but share a core belief — making our communities and the world a better place to live.
Lions Serve
Though Lions are well known for successful initiatives in vision health, our services are as diverse as our members. Lions Clubs International extends our mission of service every day based on the needs of our communities. In addition to vision services, Lions provide:
- Diabetes screening and treatment
- Programs to fight hunger
- Access to life-saving cancer treatment for children
- Assistance for the elderly
- Programs to help preserve our environment
- Literacy programs
Lions Make A Difference
Lions clubs organize meaningful community service projects to make a significant impact on the people they serve. We join together to make valued contributions to our effort and multiply the outcome. Whenever a Lions Club comes together, problems become smaller and communities grow stronger.
